Doing facial exercises is not just about stretching the skin and muscles on your face. There is a certain technique as to how to do these exercises so that wrinkles are eliminated faster. Because of this, you cannot just simply start pulling on your face and hope that your wrinkles will eventually disappear.

 Facial Exercises  Some usual exercises that are done to minimize wrinkles on the eyes and forehead are by pulling the skin under the eyes down, while raising the eyebrows as high as you can. This stretches and works the muscles in this area to lessen lines on your forehead.

You can also make your lips fuller and decrease sagging cheeks through facial exercises. You can do this by pulling down on your cheeks while smiling as hard as you can. You can also try alternately puckering your lips and smiling. Both of these will help you get rid of problems in the mouth area and give you fuller lips.

Effects of Facial Exercises

These exercises work because they work your muscles to their limit. Similar to lifting weights when going to the gym, your facial muscles will increase their tone when stretching them to their maximum capacity. By doing this everyday, your muscles will slowly become stronger which causes them to exert a stronger pull on the skin attached to them. This makes your skin tighten and decrease sagging skin and wrinkles.

Aside from just stretching your muscles to their maximum capacity, you must do it in such a way that the skin do not fold that promote the formation of more wrinkles. If this is done in a way that the skin folds to accentuate your wrinkles, then you are doing it wrong. This will only highlight your wrinkles more thus negating the increase in tone of your muscles.

Now that you know how facial exercises are able to eliminate wrinkles and fine lines, then you can start making your own variation of the exercises. You may alternate the recommended exercises from your own exercises so that you won’t be bored with the same repetitions everyday.

By alternately doing the recommended and your own exercises, you may be more motivated to continue doing the exercises as opposed to doing the same exact thing everyday. You may also teach a friend of yours how you do the exercises so that the both of you can do the exercises at the same time.

A Must Try Facial Exercises

A lot of people give up on doing facial exercises easily due to the time it takes for it to produce results. You must try and keep yourself motivated by doing variations of the exercises, and try to get someone to perform the exercises with you. This way, you can motivate each other to continue performing the exercises until you start seeing results.

I have gotten really dry skin from my acne treatment, and I dont know what to do!?

I use the exfoliating wave cleanser by neutrogena, but that doesnt help all the way.
Its a prescription medication

Are you on accutane? My suggestion would be to get some lotion called Cetaphil. It works really well for moisturizing and isn’t greasy or have an odor. Only wash with a gentle soap (like dove) or a gentle bodywash. Also when you get out of the shower or after washing your face only pat yourself dry instead rubbing. This helps keep the skin moisturized and then you can use some lotion to help with the drying.

Also it helps to stay out of the sun as much as possible.
